MIMIR: Agentic AI for Scientific Computing on HPC

Résumé : This presentation explores the emerging role of AI agents in scientific computing, with a particular focus on High-Performance Computing (HPC). It introduces the main concepts behind agentic AI, how AI agents interact with tools, code, and computing environments, and discusses their potential benefits and challenges for scientific workflows. Finally, MIMIR will be presented as a practical implementation of these concepts, through several use cases illustrating how agentic AI can support scientific computing on HPC systems.
