Cross-border partnership

Since the late 1980s, the cross-border partnership in mathematics between the universities of Pau (France) and Saragossa (Spain) proposes bilateral cooperation actions in mathematics.

These actions concern teaching and training activities or research partnerships materialized by publications in international reviews and participation in thesis committees.

Since 1989, a joint symposium called “The Zaragoza-Pau applied mathematics and statistics days” is organized roughly every two years in Jaca, Spain. A hundred or so researchers in these fields regularly attend the event, and around 80 articles are presented. A book compiling the articles presented at the different conferences is published after each session.
